Getting Started

To utilize FreeSocks proxies, you'll need to know a few things.

1. New access keys can only be retrieved from countries with heavy Internet censorship. If you try to get an access key from a country where your government doesn't heavily censor the Internet, you will be restricted from doing so.
2. Access keys will intelligently expire if you do not use them. This means your access key will stop working after a certain amount of time if you do not use it (currently 90 days). You can simply get a new access key if your key has expired, and you can't connect anymore.
3. We recommend that FreeSocks proxies be used with the Outline Client app. However, they can also be used with any compatible Shadowsocks client.
